| Magic Tales |
| |
A
long, long time ago, long before you were born
and even longer than that, there lived an old,
old man. He was always dressed in black. He wore
big thick glasses and had long bony hands. He
used to sit in a big old rocking chair on the
porch of the old nursing home just rocking back
and forth staring into space. |
| |
Some
of the older kids in town loved to scare the little
kids with tall tales about the old man so the
younger children never spoke to the old man. But
what no one knew was that the old man had been
a teacher and taught children mathematics, reading,
and science. But he was also a magician, and when he got too
old to do the magic himself, he passed his knowledge
on to a young boy. He gave this boy his magic
wand, his magic coat, and his magic. |
| |
This
is the story of a young boy who met that old man
and learned his magic... |
